Position Summary
Protected territory covering a large area in Western Colorado, established customer base, and huge inventory of Freightliner and Western Star. Transwest is seeking an experienced salesperson to sell Freightliner and Western Star to existing and new customers all over Western Colorado. This is an opportunity to capitalize on the ability to provide your customers with all business class solutions, from class 5 – 8. We offer unlimited earning potential, established customer base and protected territories throughout Colorado. You will be expected to: 1. Attain the sales and gross profit objectives set by the Sales Manager by: • Regularly calling on established accounts. • Establishing and qualifying new accounts. • Aggressively selling all products available. 2. Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers by: • Maintaining familiarity with all products and programs, and the dealership’s credit policies. • Keeping in daily contact with your major accounts. • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. 3. Complete tasks within expenses budgeted for travel and entertainment. 4. Attend trade shows and other events as needed. 5. Manage a customer database- Salesforce. 6. Provide additional help in areas as needed. 7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Managers. Requirements
To qualify you must have a proven track record of sales in the medium and / or heavy-duty truck industry. A successful candidate will be self motivated with a strong sales aptitude. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus. As part of our recruitment process, we conduct assessment testing and post-offer full background checks, physical and drug screening.
